“ Village Tavern is Super quaint, homely restaurant in downtown Long Grove. Holiday time is especially beautiful with all the surrounding lights and Santa even stopped by during dinner! The staff is so welcoming and sweet. This joint is much bigger inside and offer live music (there is a stage with piano). They have a bar and gambling lounge and is walking distance to the brewery and wine bars after dinner. They are known for their fish fry, but my favorite is the German platter. I enjoy their cocktails, they always hit the spot. ”
